Free & Easy Olympics
After the excitement of the Olympics in Vancouver, we thought we would continue the triumph with passing out a few medals of our own. In the past year, we have make it easier for people to link up trips and go on epicly long travel experiences with us. We’d like to award some of the big travelers from this past year.
- GOLD goes to Haley Stavert who in 10 months traveled on the 101 Day Odyssey followed by 30 Days in Nicaragua for a total of 131 days on Free & Easy Trips! In total, that would mean she would have visited 5 countries and more than 20 islands!
- SILVER goes to Bonnie Porter who traveled for 111 Days - 101 Day Odyssey followed by our 10 Day Surf-Town Getaway in Nicaragua.
- BRONZE goes to Erin Pooley who traveled on our 101 Day Odyssey.
- HONORABLE MENTION goes to Jenna Gordon who traveled for 90 Days woth of Free & Easy - 40 Days in Thailand, 40 Days in the Philippines followed by our 10 Day Surf-Town Getaway in Nicaragua
Nicaragua
We couldn’t be happier with the success of our inagural Nicaragua experiences. We just traipsed around the country with 25 people and everyone left with huge grins on their faces. We’re so encouraged that we have added oodles of new trip dates for fall 2010 and all year in 2011. Don’t miss your chance to live “tranquilo” in Nicaragua.

Haiti Drive
We would just like to thank all of the people who signed up during our funding drive for Haiti. In total we were able to raise $3300 for Haiti relief. With the Canadian government matching all donations that makes for $6600! Lots of love to the people of Haiti and we hope recovery will come sonner than later.

Revelstoked 2010
120 people joined us on the slopes of Revelstoke for some frosty frolicking during reading break! Sure we couldn’t find any of the powder that Revy is famous for, but who can complain with spring temperatures and a whole gaggle of people ready for good times? Thanks to everyone who came out and make the 3rd annual Revelstoked trip such a success!
